Music Program
Band & Orchestra is open to any student 5th – 8th grade with some level of previous instrumental & music reading experience.. The primary focus of the band is to expose students to new music that offers new and exciting challenges, new rhythms and musical styles, as well as scales will be the backbone of those challenges. Over the course of the year, students can expect to perform in formal concerts.

Choir Program
Choir class is designed for students 5th – 8th grade who enjoy singing and/or would like to explore their interest in music through singing and other activities. Several public performances are scheduled throughout the year, including winter and spring concerts.

Students will continue to develop musical literacy through daily solfege singing, recognize and apply proper vocal techniques, head/chest voice, tone quality, intonation, phrasing, and care of the voice.
